With Shimano’s new magnesium bodied STEPS EP801 motor you can choose between 3 modes (ECO, TRAIL and BOOST) to prioritize either assistance or range. Its comes with a 720Wh battery to open up longer rides in the mountains than ever before, and it comes with the option of extending this capacity even further thanks to an additional 360Wh external battery if required. All of that adds up 1,080Wh of day long exploring. Awesome! With 160mm of travel at the front and 150mm at the rear, your rides will be a blast!

The high-quality aluminium frame of the electric fullys combines the outstanding Mondraker design with strong recognizability and a modern geometry.

The thing that sets our ebikes apart from the pack is the on-trail manners of the bike. We sweat the carbon layup and frame design so it’s tough enough to handle the sheer quantity of riding ebikes allow. There’s no corners cut in the componentry so you’re only concern is not getting lost rather than being stuck with a mechanical. The geometry has been honed from a lot of testing and feedback in order to make the ride fun whether going up or down.

Feature Highlights

For a more natural riding experience, the SHIMANO STEPS EP801 drive unit allows riders to focus on the trail and enjoy the ride. The drive unit offers more speed on climbs and unique acceleration at high cadence, allowing optimal acceleration out of corners. Compatible with a wide range of mechanical and Di2 shifting options, the EP801 drive unit provides up to 85 Nm of power output for a light and refined feeling of support.

This is of course further supported by the mounted Maxxis Minion DHF tires at the front and DHR II at the rear in the 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ version, so that there is sufficient grip even for wild manoeuvres. If things get too fast at some point, you can brake powerfully and safely with the help of Magura’s four-piston classic MT5 and large discs. A RADON dropper post for plenty of freedom of movement downhill and the Race Face cockpit allow maximum control over the trail and the bike. The SLIDE TRAIL 9.0 – always the best choice!

Based on a geometry with longer reach and longer top tubes, riding position with FG30 mm stem is perfectly balanced for each bike category and application. Extra top tube length increase is compensated with our proprietary FG30 stem on all FG models, on every frame size. Front center length increases thus making the ride more confidence-inspiring, allowing you to ride faster easier and, above all, a more enjoyable riding experience.
